The dish I love to order when we go out is Pav-Bhaji. My mom also makes very tasty Pav-Bhaji, but it had been a long while since I had Pav-Bhaji at home.
Yesterday, my husband and I visited the super-market. In the breads’ section, I saw a packet of Pavs and thought that it would be a good idea to try making Pav-Bhaji at home in the evening. After my husband got free, we together prepared this dish with great patience and love. This was the first time we were trying it at home. After it was ready, we couldn’t wait to have it. We decided to have our dinner early as we couldn’t resist. And, guess what! It turned out to be delicious. We enjoyed having it to the core. As the cliché goes, “There is no food like home-made food”, we couldn’t agree more on that.
Though it was our first time, the dish had turned out to be really tasty. I guess that indicates we should make it often 😉 What say?
I like everything at home to be kept in the apple pie order i.e. neat and tidy. I have been like this from my childhood days. It is mainly because I’ve grown-up seeing my mother. My mother keeps everything very neat and clean at home.
There are certain things related to cleanliness which I am very particular about –
1. I feel the kitchen and the bathroom should always be kept clean.
2. I don’t like anyone coming inside the house wearing their footwear. I like people who leave their footwear near the door before coming inside the house.
3. I hate pests. I try to keep the house as clean as possible to keep them away.
4. I like to sort out things and keep them in proper compartments.
5. I prefer doing the cleaning myself with the assistance of my hubby than relying on a house-help.
I am glad that I got a life-partner who also understands the importance of cleanliness and helps me a lot with household cleaning work. I don’t have a problem with guests as such. But, I do have a problem with people coming home and messing up things in our house. It takes a lot of effort to do the cleaning since we don’t rely on anybody for this task. I feel people should have so much courtesy to understand that somebody else’s house is their home after all. They need to behave themselves. Sometimes, it is unavoidable but one should try their best to avoid messing up things at somebody else’s place 🙂 I do that when I visit somebody’s place.
I know I’m a little crazy for cleanliness, but I feel that it is important to be clean and hygienic. We should not stress ourselves to keep everything neat and tidy. But, we should do it with ease and at our own comfortable pace 🙂
I mentioned in my previous post that we bought two plants(Jasmine and Tulsi) on my birthday to keep in our balcony. Here are the pictures that I took today –
I look at these plants every day and I feel so happy 🙂 If these plants are able to grow well in our balcony, we are planning to get some more plants very soon.. Yippee!..
Today is my birthday and on this occasion I am writing the 100th post on my blog space. The journey of my life till date has been wonderful. Also, Blogging has become one of my favorite activities in life and I would wish to continue it forever. Thank you my dear friends for all the love and appreciation you’ll extended. I get highly motivated after receiving your appreciation in the form of comments and likes. There are few people who appreciate offline after reading my posts. I am thankful to each one of you.
Today has been a wonderful day so far. My dear husband gifted me with flowers early in the morning. He ordered a chocolate cake too. Before the cake-cutting, I received a lot of calls from well-wishers i.e. family and friends. It was nice talking to each one of them. We had lunch outside at a restaurant. The food was pretty decent. After lunch, we went for shopping. I bought some stuff from the Apparel and Perfumes’ sections. While returning from the Mall, we went to a flower store. From a long time, I have been wishing to buy some flower pots and some plants to place in them. We bought Jasmine and Tulsi plants for now. We placed them in our balcony and they look lovely. I was super-happy after buying them. After buying the plants, we visited the Hanuman temple to take blessings of the Almighty. I am not a very spiritual person, but I like to visit the temple sometimes just to express my gratitude to the Almighty.
After returning home, I watched Hrithik Roshan’s dance performance on television in one of the Awards’ function. It is always a treat to watch him dance. But, today his performance seemed to be even better. May be the occasion made it seem even better :D. And yes, how can I forget to mention that today one of my cousins’ called me after 13 long years. She is just a year older than me. We grew up together, but lost contact after schooling. It was nice talking to her after a long long time. On this happy note, I sign off for the day. Happy Blogging friends! Don’t miss the pictures below –
I may not be the most respected, but I certainly respect myself the most.
